Coffee - 2 - 2.30pm

Session 1:  Coherence 3.4 Deep Dive (Brian Oliver + Ewan Slater Oracle)
Following on from the last SIG, in this talk we take a deep dive into Coherence 3.4, including demonstrations and code samples for Java, .NET and C++.  We'll also investigate some previously unseen and advanced features. More will be revealed closer to the event.

Session 2: Real-Time Monitoring of Coherence (Evident ClearStone™)
This session and associated demonstration discusses how Evident delivers real-time monitoring for Coherence.  The presentation will provide an overview of the Evident architecture, including the use of Coherence internally as an operational component of the real-time architecture. ie: Using Coherence to monitor Coherence.  The demonstration will showcase the real-time dashboard with the following visualizations (based on an Adobe® Flex® framework):
• Data Grid Health - a real-time visualization to monitor the overall health and status of Coherence.• Data Grid Heat Map - a versatile view of the Coherence caches. The heat map/tree maps display caches as “cells” in the heat map. The cells can be arranged, sized and colored to graphically reveal underlying cache performance data patterns and allows end users to easily recognize complicated data relationships that are otherwise non-obvious.• Cluster Performance Charts - a multi-chart view designed to trend a cluster’s infrastructure and memory capacity. It actively monitors storage node availability and consumption.

Information at SIGs is presented for member's best exploitation and use, in respect of their investment in Oracle and related technologies. This therefore may be sensitive in nature.
