Time: 2:30 PM - 3:15 PM
Track: Track 1
Driven by the higher delivery expectations of cloud services, organisations need to provide services on top of cloud products in the fastest and most efficient way. This puts more importance on delivery methodologies that allow speed but ensure quality in the delivered software. Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) is the term generally used to describe these approaches.
Concepts such as DevOps and Continuous Integration are increasingly adopted and are more than ever becoming crucial for software delivery challenged by these constant demands.
This session will introduce SDLC concepts and the tools used for code quality assurance, build & deployment and testing automation, such as Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, and JIRA. It will also describe strategies and processes to manage the lifecycle of Oracle FMW applications in order to assure quality for all stages from development, through test and QA, and into production for on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
