Fusion Middleware and "Multimodal IT" – Oracle’s Middleware Strategy

« Return to event

Time: 9:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Track: Track 1

Oracle Fusion Middleware’s been around for a long time now, providing a rock-solid Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) foundation in WebLogic, and one of the most powerful application and service integration platforms in SOA Suite and its components. Currently there’s a great deal of fuss about the “API economy”, an attempt to streamline software infrastructures in such a way that development, operations and integration are simplified and optimised. Analysts have described this combination as “Multimodal IT”. Many vendors treat these environments as almost exclusive, but Oracle see it as essential that they’re inclusive.

Come along to this session to hear Oracle’s view on:
• The integrated approach to “traditional” integration and the “API world” via Oracle’s integration portfolio and API Platform – Oracle Integration Cloud Service, SOA Suite and SOA Cloud Service, Oracle API Platform, Oracle Managed File Transfer and MFT Cloud Service
• Managing and executing business processes via Oracle Business Process Management and Process Cloud Service
• Developments in Oracle’s Fusion Middleware – WebLogic Server and Java Cloud Service

We’ll look at latest developments and where Oracle Fusion Middleware’s headed in the future.

  • Ian Doyle, Oracle
