Configuring WebLogic for Production

« Return to event

Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Track: Track 1

The out-of-the-box configuration of a WebLogic server domain is designed to get people up and running quickly with a WebLogic environment, but is not ideally suited for production use. We will step through various areas of WebLogic configuration and discuss best practices for how they should be configured in a production environment. It will cover areas such as Data sources and connection pools, JMS, Logging, Security, Node Manager and machines, Transactions and Clustering, looking at some examples of the areas where you might want to consider tuning your production configuration. To get the most out of this session, attendees should be familiar with the basics of WebLogic Server administration.
