Welcome to this months UKOUG Solaris SIG. Coming up this month:

Ops Center - Oracle Engineered Systems (OES), SuperClusters, and generic server pools & clouds (Click to download)
This month's talk will cover Ops Center systems management software. The main talk will be about discovery and logical views of engineered systems or your data centre and grouping your servers or OES into server pools or private clouds. We will talk about what tasks OC can help the admin with and eventually jump into the implementation details.

We will show sample server pool creation for zones and LDOMs based on SuperCluster (with infiniband and Oracle Storage Appliance inside) and how we can create a sample LDOM & zone-based IAAS cloud, allocate an account and create a vserver on top of this.
