UK Oracle User Group

Event Vacancies

We’re looking for new committee members!

Our volunteers are essential to ensuring we deliver our events to the high stand which our members have come to expect - so if you’ve insights you feel could benefit the content, structure and format of our events then please do get involved.

What does a being on a committee involve?
As a committee member you’ll be responsible for helping source content to make sure we have the best possible agenda – you’ll take in impartial look at the submitted papers and use your expertise and industry insights to best advise which content would benefit the user community. You may even be requested to use your network of industry experts to source speakers and fill any agenda gaps - as well as this you will need to be available at the event to help run the day, session chair, assist with networking and answering delegate queries on the day.

Why should you get involved?
Being a volunteer has many benefits; you can help boost your CV, meet new people who have the same passion for Oracle as you, and influence the products which we provide to the UKOUG community, as well as getting to attend the event free of charge to see all the work you put in pay off.

We’ve had a great year of educational fuelled events thus far - which in no small part is due to having dedicated and passionate committee members. So, if you’ve time to share and you want to give back to the Oracle community, why not get involved and volunteer for a UKOUG event committee!

We’re looking for committee members for the following events:

UKOUG EPM & Hyperion Event 2018

As the main annual event for EPM & Hyperion users in the UK, ensuring the agenda provides industry relevant insights to our audience is crucial. Which is why we’re looking for enthusiastic members of the EPM & Hyperion community to impart their knowledge and help shape our 2018 event. So, if you’ve time to spare from now until June then we’d love you to lend a helping hand – just apply here.
