Computer professional since 1976, I have worked in Application development and Systems. Currently I head the global team for Database certifications in Oracle University, I teach and speak at conferences.

What are your interests (in work and outside)?
Amateur Rugby Union Referee and Volunteer Mentor at Greenwich University.

When did you first start volunteering with UKOUG?

Why did you want to become a UKOUG volunteer?
To give something back to the customers who come to my classes.

What volunteering activates do you undertake?
SIG Liaison for RAC and Availability SIG. Speaking at SIGS and Conference

What does a day of volunteering involve for you?
Meetings and recommending speakers or speaking myself.

What is the best thing about volunteering?
Giving something back and making a difference to people.

What’s most rewarding about Volunteering?
Same as above

What experience with UKOUG influenced you most?
Working in the committee to plan the Annual Tech Conference.
