Present at an event

SpeakerFrom our regular Special Interest Groups (SIGs), one-off Events and Conferences, UKOUG provides over 80 events each year for our members.

We are constantly looking for speakers to present at our events. There's always an agenda to enhance and your insights, lessons learned and customer experience stories add value to our event offerings.

When a speaker is needed, we'll ask for an abstract; the event committee who put together the event agenda will then review all submissions and contact the applicants.

If you're interested, take a look at the communities and events and once you know where your topic fits, complete your abstract form.

For our annual conferences, we hold separate 'call for papers', where you can submit presentations online. To ensure you receive information on these dates, remember to update your online profile and visit the individual conference pages for more details on these events. You can find our more about this year's conferences here.

Join an event committee

CommitteeBecome a chair or deputy chair for one of our event committees.

These committees are extremely important to UKOUG and are set up to ensure that our events continue to represent the needs of each community. The role includes shaping the agendas for events and ensuring that they remain relevant and of interest to the group. In return for your time and commitment to UKOUG, we offer great benefits.

Take a look at our communities pages and once you know which one(s) you would like to apply for just complete this short form.
