Advertise in Oracle Scene

Oracle Scene is our flagship publication, distributed three times a year, providing exposure to a highly targeted and captive market. It has proven to be one of the most effective ways to reach customers and users of the complete Oracle product set. The publication features user stories, product and technical articles, case studies, hints and tips, book reviews, conference summaries, news on product enhancements, news and updates from Oracle, and proves a popular reference source.

Oracle Scene has a print run of 3,000 and is emailed to 10,000 subscribers upon publication. In addition, it is distributed to Oracle reception areas and in Oracle Customer Visitor Centres in the UK and Ireland. There is a digital edition of Oracle Scene to complement the print version.

Sponsorship packages - only 3 approved per edition

  • Back cover package*:  £2,500 – Back cover advert, a double page advertorial spread & logo on front cover with ‘thanks to this edition’s sponsors'
  • Inside front package*:  £2,000 – Print - Inside front cover advert, 1 page advertorial & logo on front cover with ‘thanks to this edition’s sponsors’
  • Inside back package*: £2,000 – Inside back cover advert,  1 page advertorial & logo on front cover with ‘thanks to this edition’s sponsors’

Target audience: 
Small third parties & independents with little money to spend on marketing. Provides these orgs with a cost effective way to get their company name and details out to the membership and into Oracle reception areas in UK & Ireland in order to raise their brand awareness and generate enquiries. Could also expand to include other suppliers such as printers, hardware rental, other related professional associations etc if we think it’s worth it.
 
Price:  £150 per entry per edition, can bulk buy for year at £405 (10% discount)
 
Entry includes: Company name, location (town/county), website, contact name, email, company logo

Entries can be text only or designed. Entries categorised by organisation function e.g. consultancy, training etc. If company fits more than one category they select their primary listing and we add a note under the other category referring readers to “also see x category”.
 
Design service: £75.00
(Client supplies all the imagery, text and logos. Additional fees apply to any further requirements and will be quoted on a case by case basis.)

Recruitment Partners

  • Entitled to x1 free quarter page advert in OS (one edition only).
  • Any additional advertisements will be charged at the list price less 20%.
  • Any recruitment partner wishing to upgrade their quarter page advert will have to pay the difference on the list price. The 20% discount will not apply.
  • Recruitment partners can pitch feature ideas to UKOUG. UKOUG will then select a recruitment feature per edition. Feature will sit alongside recruitment partner ads.
  • View Recruitment Partner membership packages.

Premium Partners

  • Entitled to x1 free half page advert in OS (one edition only).
  • Any additional advertisements will be charged at the list price less 20%.
  • Any Premium Partner wishing to upgrade their half page advert will have to pay the difference on the list price. The 20% discount will not apply.
  • UKOUG partners can pitch feature ideas to UKOUG.

Design service rate card

Price to create design and artwork for one advert for use within Oracle Scene.

  • A4 full page portrait advert (210x297mm):    £150.00
  • Half page landscape advert (170x123mm):  £112.50
  • Quarter page portrait advert (83x123mm):    £100.00


All prices quoted are for advert production where the client supplies all final copy, relevant imagery and logos at high resolution – spec available.

Imagery can be sourced to create artwork but please note that additional fees apply to such further requirements and prices will be quoted on a case by case basis.

If brand guidelines are available these should be supplied prior to an advert being designed. If brand guidelines require specific fonts to be used, these should be supplied in OpenType or Postscript format or an addition cost can be supplied to purchase fonts.
