Award criteria
1. UKOUG Primavera and Oracle Projects Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around Oracle Primavera or Oracle Projects solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers several solutions around Oracle Primavera and Oracle Projects, or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialised around a single offering. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle Primavera and Oracle Projects needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle Primavera and Oracle Projects.
2. UKOUG E-Business Suite Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers several solutions around Oracle E-Business Suite, or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialised around a single offering. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Siebel needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. 5. UKOUG PeopleSoft Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around PeopleSoft solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers PeopleSoft consultancy in conjunction with several Oracle Applications solutions, or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialising in PeopleSoft. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their PeopleSoft needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. 7. UKOUG ISV Partner of the Year Award
A Partner that sells a product that has been created or manufactured by its own company and which then runs with or operates upon Oracle products. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have purchased a product from the Independent Software Vendor Partner. The client should vote on the quality of the product, services delivered and the relationship/client management.
8. UKOUG Database Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around Oracle database solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers several solutions around the Oracle Database (Managed services, Database Tuning, Custom Development etc), or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialised around a single offering. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle Database needs. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle Database needs.
9. UKOUG Middleware Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around Oracle middleware solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers several solutions around the Oracle Middleware (fusion middleware, BPEL, BEA etc), or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialised around a single offering. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle middleware needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle middleware needs.
10. UKOUG Business Intelligence Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a full range of skills and services around Oracle business intelligence(BI) solutions. This can either be a Partner who offers several solutions around Oracle BI, or a Partner who offers comprehensive services specialised around a single offering. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle BI and reporting needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle BI needs.
11. UKOUG Innovative (Product /Service) Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers innovative consulting or products relating to any Oracle solution. This can be due to a single (exceptional) innovative product or consultancy engagement or due to a consistently innovative ethos from the Partner over a long period of time. The client should vote on the uniqueness, originality and quality of the product or project and the proven ability of the Partner to deliver the promised solution within agreed cost and time constraints.
12. UKOUG Training Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers excellent training on Oracle Applications or Oracle Technology. This can be external or client based training, and can be project related. Both specialist training companies and Partners offering training as part of other offerings (such as full implementation projects) can be considered. The client should vote on the quality of the training delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent training delivery.
13. UKOUG Managed Services (Outsourcing and Operations) Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers excellent managed services around Oracle Applications or Oracle Technology. This can be external or onsite support. Both specialist managed services companies and Partners offering managed services in conjunction with other offerings (such as full implementation projects) can be considered. The client should vote on the quality of the service delivered, value for money, compliance to stated SLA’s and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent managed services delivery.
14. UKOUG Public Sector Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a range of skills, services or complementary products specifically to customers working in the public sector. Clients would typically vote in this category where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle needs, or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle needs.
15. UKOUG Financial Services Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a range of skills, services or complementary products specifically to customers working in the financial services industry. Clients would vote in this category if they work in the financial services industry and where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle needs. Or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle needs.
16. UKOUG Retail, Manufacturing & Distribution Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a range of skills, services or complementary products specifically to customers working in the retail, manufacturing or distribution industries. Clients would vote in this category if they work in the retail, manufacturing or distribution industries and where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle needs. Or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle needs.
17. UKOUG Communications, Media & Utilities Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a range of skills, services or complementary products specifically to customers working in the communications, media or utilities industries. Clients would vote in this category if they work in the communications, media or utilities industries and where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle needs. Or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. 18. UKOUG Services, Transport & Logistics Partner of the Year Award
A Partner who delivers a range of skills, services or complementary products specifically to customers working in the services, transport or logistics industries. Clients would vote in this category if they work in the services, transport or logistics industries and where they have a single preferred supplier they have worked with over a number of years for all or most of their Oracle needs. Or where a particular Partner has supplied innovative solutions in this area, backed by skilled resource and excellent delivery. The client should vote on the quality of the services delivered and the relationship and client management with regards to ensuring excellent service delivery around all of their Oracle needs.
19. UKOUG Small Business/General Business Partner of the Year Award
This award is for Partners who deliver excellent and cost effective services to smaller customers (often referred to as SME customers). The voter in this case would usually feel that the Partner had developed specific solutions for SME clients, and that they had derived benefit from these solutions (in terms of fit, culture or cost/ efficiency). This award is open to any type of Partner who can demonstrate real added value to this particular client base.
