What is my membership entitlement for free conference places?

How do I register using my membership free places?
In order to use your free conference days, the main contact for a membership needs to issue voucher codes against this entitlement.
You can request a voucher from the main contact by accessing the Registration Centre, using your UKOUG login details, and clicking on "Request a voucher"
The main contact can approve voucher requests/ issue vouchers by also accessing the Registration Centre . Main contacts can use voucher codes to manage free place registrations and book places for themselves and/or their colleagues centrally. Alternatively, a main contact can opt to allocate and email voucher codes directly to colleagues to enable them to book at their leisure.
You will need your UKOUG website username and password to login to the Registration Centre. If you do not have a UKOUG username and password, please register for online services on the UKOUG website . To find out who your membership’s main contact is log in to the My UKOUG area.
What do I do if the free places for my membership have all been allocated?
Are you a:
- Main contact: You can increase your free places or pay to attend by either:
1) purchasing a membership upgrade (if applicable)
2) purchasing an additional membership via the UKOUG website,
3) or you can pay for tickets via the Registration Centre and purchase them at member rates

- Member contact : You can increase your free places or pay to attend by either:
1) purchasing your own additional membership via the UKOUG website
2) or you can you buy extra tickets in the Registration Centre and purchase them at member ratesby purchase additional conference days at member rates, which can then be converted into voucher codes to be used by any colleagues

I am not a member, can I still attend?
Of course! you have 2 options:
- Become a member and attend for free: Save yourself money and take out an annual UKOUG membership (Silver or higher). Chose a membership plan most suitable to your needs, there are some great benefits and apply online , or by calling UKOUG on +44 (0)20 8545 9670 or email: info@ukoug.org. When your membership has been processed you will need to set up your UKOUG username and password here. Once this has been set up, you can log into the Registration Centre and follow the registration process. Please note, new memberships take 1 working day to process.
- Attend as a non-member: You will need to create a UKOUG username and password via the UKOUG website . Once this has been set up, you can log into the Registration Centre and register at non-member rates.
I am a Bronze Affiliate member, does my membership include free places?
No, unfortunately not, to get a free place you will need to upgrade your membership to either Silver/Gold/Platinum level. You can do this via the UKOUG website or by calling UKOUG on +44 (0)20 8545 9670 . Please note, upgrades and additional memberships take 1 working day to process. The quickest way to settle the payment for the upgrade is to pay by credit card. Alternatively, you can log into the Registration Centre and buy tickets at member rates.
How do I upgrade my membership or buy a new membership?
- Main contact: You can purchase a new membership or upgrade via the UKOUG website or by calling the UKOUG office on +44 (0)20 8545 9670. Please note, upgrades and additional memberships take 1 working day to process.
- If you are not the main contact: You can purchase an additional membership online (and nominate a main contact) via the UKOUG website or by calling the UKOUG office on +44 (0)20 8545 9670 or email: info@ukoug.org. Please note, new memberships take 1 working day to process.
How do I update or amend my registration?
To make any changes to your registration, please email the UKOUG registration team at ukoug@registrationline.co.uk or call +44 (0)1462 499670, quoting your full name, name of the conference you had registered for and the registration code (starting with '5') you received on confirmation.
How do I pay for my registration, membership or upgrade?
You can pay by BACS (if you provide a PO number) or credit card - Please refer to your invoice for full payment details.
NOTE: Taylor Bennett Partners LLP are the registration company authorised to accept payments on behalf of UKOUG. All monies will be passed back in full to UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG).
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE EVENT YOU ARE ATTENDING
What do I do if I have registered but can no longer attend?
You can transfer your registration to a colleague from your company free of charge - up to 48 hours prior to the event by calling the UKOUG registration line +44 (0)1462 499670 or by email to ukoug@registrationline.co.uk. However, should you need to cancel your registration entirely you must confirm in writing to ukoug@registrationline.co.uk. Cancellations made up to 30 days before the event can be refunded – but are subject to an administration fee of £50+VAT. Cancellations made after this date and no shows at the event will be liable for the full registration fee.
I am speaking at the conference, do I still register?
No you do not have to register, the UKOUG Project Manager will do this on your behalf. Speakers are entitled to complimentary event attendance, so if you are a main contact don’t forget to issue your memberships conference passes to your colleagues.
I work for Oracle, how should I register?
Contact the UKOUG office to obtain your voucher stating which conference you are registering for and which days you will be attending.
I am on the conference event commitee, how should I register?
You don't need to register, your conference Project Manager will do this on your behalf. If you are your organisations main contact you will still need to distribute any vouchers applicable to your membership.
How can I book accommodation?
If you require accommodation for any of the Conference Series 2011 events, you can make a hotel reservation online , or you can contact Event Express at ukoug@eventexpressuk.com, Telephone +44 (0)1905 732720. We have held a number of rooms with this agent, please note you may be able to find cheaper accomodation elsewhere online.
What is the Conference Series dress code?
All UKOUG events have a relaxed dress code; however, you may wish to dress in business casual which is the most common form.
