Buzz building around user experience design patterns

5 June 2013

People are talking about user experience design patterns that have been released in the last year by the Applications User Experience team.

You can get to them through the Usable Apps website, or visit the Oracle Fusion Applications desktop and mobile patterns website. Here's a sampling of recent posts about the patterns and how they can help developers:

Floyd Teter, an ACE Director with Oracle partner EiS Technologies, talks about ADF design patterns.

Ultan O'Broin, Director of User Experience, Oracle Applications UX, tackles design patterns twice in his blog, where he writes about building integrations in the cloud with UX patterns and guidelines, and Oracle ADF functional patterns.

Sten Vesterli, an ACE Director with Oracle partner Scott/Tiger, offers his take on design patterns and why smart people use them, and discusses the importance of usability testing

We'd love to get your feedback on this; you'll need a UKOUG login to provide it, so if you don't have one, please click on 'create a web profile' first.
