Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools
This Special Interest Group forms part of the Oracle Technology community. The offerings for users of Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools (BIRT) comprise of SIGs, presentations in the annual UK Oracle User Group Conference, an extensive online library as well as publications and fortnightly ebulletins.
What does this community offer?
The SIG welcomes both technical and business-orientated presentations, and each meeting usually contains a mixture of customer case studies, technical tips and techniques, new product information and discussions on the best ways to implement Oracle’s BI, reporting and data warehousing tools. Recent presentations include subjects such as data warehousing techniques, migrating Discoverer to Oracle BI Suite Enterprise Edition, business intelligence methodologies, customer case studies and group discussions on Oracle’s BI product strategy.
Aims and objectives:
- To work closely with Oracle and other third parties as new products are released providing advance details, hints and tips, and product demonstrations at our regular SIG meetings
- To help members with product and support issues
- To hold workshops and promote communication between Oracle and the SIG community.
