Minimize Downtime with Rolling Upgrade

9 July 2012

System availability today is critical to enterprise needs. Rolling upgrade allows database admins to fullfill upgrade or admin tasks (normally leading to unavailability), without having critical downtimes. This means, that end-users, having access to databases, are minimally impacted, when database admins are using the feature described within in this seminar.

Minimize Downtime with Rolling Upgrade is a new course run by Oracle University's Senior Principal Lecturer Uwe Hesse

The course will be of particular interest to:

  • Database administrators
  • Database designers
  • PL/SQL-developers

Participants, being interested in this topic, are database administrators, in charge of databases and in special for their availability. System availability today is critical to enterprise needs. Rolling upgrade allows database admins to fullfill upgrade or admin tasks (normally leading to unavailability), without having critical downtimes.
