Oracle Technology Users- don't miss out this April/May!

Over the next five weeks, UKOUG are hosting four Technology events for the Oracle community. These events are the perfect opportunity to share your knowledge, learn from others, and gain a deeper understanding into the facts, as well as the reality of using Oracle Technology.

Whether you attend an event as a delegate, speaker, exhibitor or a volunteer, UKOUG SIG’s are considered one day action packed events, focussing on one main topic. Speakers from the Oracle world, give their time to spread their Oracle Technology experience and product expertise. We offer a variety of SIG’s and Special Events covering areas within the technology bracket, so do utilise these key member benefits to attend one of these events and expand your industry knowledge.

  • Following closely behind on 22nd April at The Studio in Manchester is the UKOUG Database Server SIG
    This all day event will feature speakers from a variety of companies such as: Phil Davies and Andrew Bulloch from Oracle, Neil Johnson from Osumo Ltd, Philip Brown from e-DBA and Marcel-Jan Krijgsman from Robobank Nederland. Covering topics from ‘Virtualisation- How not to do it’ to ‘Startup Deconstructed’. The UKOUG Database Server SIG gives delegates the opportunity to gain Oracle knowledge from other businesses who use the products as well as the chance to quiz Oracle staff themselves.   • This May 7th, at Oracle City Offices London, the all day UKOUG Apps DBA SIG will be taking place. With the topics of conversation ‘Dynatrace- Monitoring the user performance’, ‘Data Masking EBS HR’ and ‘Oracle E-Business Suite Support’ this event even has it's own power networking session.   • UKOUG Application Express (APEX) SIG will be taking place on 14th May at Oracle, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull. This all day event features speakers from businesses who have in depth expertise into APEX software, how it works, its features, and how to adapt your procedures to make the most of the software. High profile companies such as Sibylline Soloutions Limited, Explorer UK, Recx, Celesio and Oracle are featuring on the agenda s providing delegates with an opportunity to gain tips, learnt from a customer’s perspective.   • May’s show stopper event, UKOUG Systems Event 2015 will be taking place on 20th May at the exceptional, family run Cavendish Conference Centre. Unlike the SIG’s previously mentioned, the Systems Event 2015 will look at a variety of topics such as: Solaris & Linux Administration, Storage & Network Administration, Engineered Systems, including Exadata, Exalogic, Virtualization, OVM, SPARC and Supercluster. With such an action packed, information filled day, this really is a key event for the Oracle Technology community this year. With the date ever approaching, registration is now open for delegates, so make sure you book early to guarantee your place. This event is the perfect opportunity to increase your knowledge on a Engineered and Operating Systems, as well as some well positioned networking throughout the day and at the drinks reception.
