Star Tech the Birmingham Frontier

21 April 2015

These are the Call for Papers voyages of the starship UKOUG. Its four week mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new speakers and new abstracts, to boldly go where no event has gone before.

Or in other news - UKOUG is delighted to announce that Call for Papers is now open for Tech15.

Tech15 conference

This year the theme will be Embrace, Evolve, Explore - and you can submit your papers around the topics of: Database, Developement & Middleware, Systems and Business Analytics.

So what does the theme actually mean? Well simply put:

Embrace - embracing the technology you are currently using and learning how to use it to the best of it's ability

Evolve - what are the immediate plans for your products - is it an upgrade or new installation?

Explore - what does the future hold, will it be cloud or mobile, where is your business going and what will you need from your IT systems?

Call for Papers is open until 10th May so there's still time to put your thinking caps on and plan your abstract.
