Bringing Asteriods Down to Earth

We’ve talked about it before, but we’re still not done with last year’s NASA/EchoUser-sponsored hackathon that resulted in collaboration between members of the OAUX team and the Minor Planet Center. Read about the journey, and check out the result -- the Asteroid Data Explorer – in this new post on

Get a look at Oracle OpenWorld 2015 plans from the OAUX team in two new posts on the Voice of User Experience (VoX) blog. Register for two special events in one post, “Get a look at the future Oracle cloud user experience at Oracle OpenWorld 2015,” and learn about our Cloud UX lab tour and onsite usability testing in another, “More Oracle UX fun planned for Oracle OpenWorld 2015.”

Most Influential

Congratulations to Aylin Uysal, OAUX Senior Design Director and Strategist, for landing in Turk of America’s list of the top 20 most influential Turkish-American women! In an interview with the website, she discusses her personal hobbies, her daily routine at work, and what makes Oracle so special.

PaaS4SaaS News

Debra Lilley, Oracle ACE Director and Vice President of Cloud Services for Oracle partner Certus Solutions, offers up a Two-Minute Tech Tip via OTNArchBeat in this video, “Extending Oracle Cloud Applications with PaaS4SaaS.”

Ultan O’Broin from the OAUX team writes about “PaaS4SaaS UX Enablement with Certus Solutions: Valid Business Proposition” on the SOA Community Blog. (If you’re keeping track, that’s Debra Lilley’s company.)

And check the Usable Apps website’s Oracle Applications Cloud Release 9 page for newly updated material, including greater access to select webinars.
