Prepare for Tech14 with Autumn Special Interest Groups

1 September 2014

Tech14 is the biggest independent event for the Oracle Technology community in the UK, and to help you get the most out of your experience, you can attend one of the many Technology Special Interest Groups (SIGs) UKOUG is holding this autumn.

Each SIG is based on a specific theme and allows you to get a head-start on the topics covered on the Tech14 agenda, so you can arrive ahead of the game, aware of the gaps in your knowledge and plan how you can fill them at the conference.

Because they're smaller events, SIGs are also a great way to make new connections in the Oracle community, who you can then meet up with again over the three days at Tech14, whether in the sessions rooms or over a drink at the social.

UKOUG has an autumn calendar full of Technology SIGs in the lead up to Tech14:

•    Development SIG – 9th September
•    Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools SIG – 17th September
•    Solaris SIG – 17th September
•    OUG Ireland Technology SIG – 24th September
•    Applications Server and Middleware SIG – 9th October
•    Database Server SIG – 21st October
•    Apps DBA for OEBS – 6th November
•    APEX SIG – 18th November
•    Solaris SIGs – 19th November

Passes to attend SIGs are included within our various membership packages so if you are a member, make sure you use them to and make the most of your membership investment. Non members are of course welcome to attend our SIG events at a rate of £170+VAT , but if you’re planning on attending Tech14 too, it will more cost effective to take out a membership which would provide you with multiple SIG passes and a conference ticket.

Member SIG rate: £85+VAT
Non member SIG rate: £170+VAT
Member conference day rate: £325+VAT

Contact our membership team to discuss the right package for you on or +44 (0)20 8545 9670.

UKOUG looks forward to seeing you at a SIG soon.

We'd love to get your feedback on this; you'll need a UKOUG login to provide it, so if you don't have one, please click on 'create a web profile' first.
