Footage from Steven Elsham's Digital CX Keynote presentation at Apps16:

Over the next five years, customer experience (CX) improvement will be the #1 technology investment priority for CEOs globally. Organizations are facing unparalleled levels of pressure from empowered consumers, digital disruptors, and a slow-growth global economy. Oracle Customer Experience Cloud (Oracle CX Cloud) is the industry’s leading CX offering and the choice of more than 5,000 customers. In this session, Steven Elsham, senior director for Oracle CX Cloud, shares his insights on the CX landscape, why Oracle CX Cloud is a superior approach versus multi-cloud or on-premises CX delivery, and the road ahead for Oracle CX Cloud and Oracle’s unified CX platform.

Steven runs the Customer Experience (CX) Applications business for Oracle’s commercial industries. He is Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) and a Fellow of the Association of Professional Sales. He was previously a Non-Executive Board Member of the Association for Service Management International (AFSMI, now merged with the TSIA).

Footage from Neil Sholay's UKOUG Conference Opening Keynote:

UK Organisations are now well travelled on their Journey to become Digital Businesses. Most have begun Building a Digital platform to support new Digital products and experiences and even business models. But one of the key principles of Digital – that Data is the foundation of all Digital business - requires further attention. This keynote will make the case that every piece of data you own, share or buy is now at the centre of everything....every click, swipe, sensor signal and gesture - is the fuel that will allow your organisation to go beyond insight, to actionable outcomes. Data if used effectively will automate the mundane tasks and advise on in-context experiences. We are at the precipice of organisations moving from ‘having’ data to being ‘data driven’. This is just the beginning.

DOCIntroduction to Special Interest Groups & the Oracle SIG Liaison

Published: 28.05.2015 - This document is restricted to members

Many different communities within the UK and Ireland User Groups have formed a Special Interest Group (SIG) for their community.

Each SIG has a committee consisting of elected volunteers from that community. Committee members are from either Customer or Partner organisations – their organisation must be a current member of the UK / Ireland User Group. The committee includes a Chair (and usually a Vice-Chair).

The User Group office, i.e. permanently employed staff, will allocate one of their Project Officers to each SIG committee.

The other key member of the committee is the Oracle Liaison i.e. an Oracle UK or Oracle Ireland employee appointed to work with the SIG. For some SIGs, there are two Oracle SIG Liaisons e.g. for a newly formed SIG or one with a diverse remit.

Appointment of a new Oracle SIG Liaison will be led by the Oracle Liaison Manager who will involve relevant Oracle Lines of Business in the decision.
