Awards terms and conditions
1. All entrants must have permission from the relevant parties before nominating an organisation for an Award
2. To enter nominations for a UKOUG Partner of the Year Award the organisation must be a UKOUG Partner member with valid membership until December 2011
3. Each chosen category must be supported by the responses to all of the four nomination questions, which outlinine why an organisation is deserving of the award as well the name of the customer/third parties involved in the achievement
4. You must be full aware of the criteria before nominating your organisation for an award. Details are available at: www.oug.org/criteria
5. The closing date for nominations is 22nd July 2011 at 4pm. Any entrants submissions received after this date will not be considered
6. Your nomination may be revoked or adjusted if you have knowingly misrepresented, provided incorrect or false information and you will be prevented from entering next year's nominations
7. All material submitted as part of any entry and the copyright thereof, as well as the rights of any interviews, shall become the property of UKOUG. No nomination or supporting material will be returned but all supporting material will be kept confidential
8. An adjudicating panel comprised of SIG committee members and Board/Council representatives (excluding anyone who has worked for a Partner in the past 5 years) will review the nominations and select the Partners that will go through to the final user vote week commencing 8th August
9. There will be an unlimited group of adjudicators for each of the 19 award categories
10. The goal of each adjudicator will be to short-list the number of nominees to a maximum of 6 nominees for each category (where there is already less than 6 nominees for a category - the adjudicators must award any poor quality submission with 0 points)The decision of the adjudicator panel is final in every situation, as is that of UKOUG in all matters affecting the Awards, and no correspondence on this topic will be entered into
11. The adjudicators will make their selection online during the week commencing 25th July
12. Adjudicators will vote online by allocating 6/5/4/3/2/1 points for all three of the nomination questions for each nomination category for their preferred top 6 Partners
13. You must provide a valid company email address, without which your vote will not be counted.
14. Short-listed Partners cannot be voted for by anyone belonging to a Partner/third party organisation
15. Each person can only vote once and must have a UKOUG online account
16. You will need to select your gold, silver and bronze choice for each category A different Partner must be selected for each of the three final places. Votes where multiple companies are selected as the gold/silver/bronze choice will be discarded
17. Multiple votes from a single organisation will be accepted as each vote can be identified as being from a different person
18. Entry to UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards 2011/12 is deemed acceptance of these rules and agreement to be bound by them. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree to our general website terms and conditions
19. UKOUG reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online
20. At least one member of each organisation must attend the Awards Ceremony Dinner in order to receive the Award(s) they have won. Awards will not be posted to winners who do not attend the ceremony
21. By virtue of your attendance at the Awards Ceremony you irrevocably consent to having the use of your image on photographs and marketing material by UKOUG
22. Anyone found to be behaving in a manner that is detrimental to other guests at the Awards Ceremony dinner will be immediately escorted off-site and will not be allowed to re-enter
23.There will be no refunds issued for the purchase of the Awards Ceremony Dinner tickets
24.Voting will commence w/c 8th August and close on 31st August 2011
