Over 800 attendees joined UK Oracle User Group at the 2014 Applications Conference & Exhibition at the ACC Liverpool.
Apps14 focused on ‘Connecting Communities, Connecting Experiences’ and the event showed this with an agenda of 14 streams and over 200 speakers. The agenda covered Business Strategy, Hyperion & EPM, Business Analytics, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and CRM plus brand new Applications Innovation. Presentations came from a variety of speakers including Oracle Keynotes, Oracle ACE’s, partners and end users meaning there was something for everyone.
Congratulations to this year’s UKOUG Speaker Award Winners, the winners are determined by the feedback given by delegates in 2013 and judging score of 2014, take a look at the list of winners here.
As well as three days of content, Apps14 also provided an exhibition hall with over 40 Oracle suppliers who hosted competitions, demos and offered delegates the chance to compare products and services.
Delegates also enjoyed a relaxing social event after a day of sessions on Tuesday which was a Cool Britannia themed evening with a sweetie bar, phone box photo booth and music from The Cheatles.
Social media also played a pivotal role within Apps14, providing a forum for delegates to share knowledge learnt and debate the key content of the day.
