Who are UKOUG's Inspiring Technology & Applications Presenters?

24 January 2012

Announcing the latest IPA award winners. What does it take to be an Inspiring Presentation Award winner?

For the second year running UKOUG held it’s Inspiring Presentation Awards at the UK Oracle User Group Conference.  Speakers from the previous year’s event were in the short running with a range of categories in which to compete for an award in. Scores were based upon delegate evaluations, rating the presenter's ability and knowledge, topic and relevance of their presentation.  There were also three awards which were rated on the highest judging scores taken at the agenda planning stage.  UKOUG members were invited to vote for their favourite abstracts from the conference's Call for Papers process which were put forward to the Conference Planning Committee on the basis of highest rated.

UK Oracle User Group Conference 2012's call for papers will open in April.  A short abstract of no more than 200 words is required, all abstracts are then judged and those with the highest score are put forward to the Conference Planning Committee who create the three day agenda.

To ensure you hear about announcements on the Conference make sure you have Technology or E-Business Suite Community selected on your personal profile

We are always looking for members to tell us their story at our Special Interest Groups (SIGs), no previous speaking experience necessary.  Members like to learn from others in the industry so if you have battled your way through an upgrade project or have a great hint or tip to get the best out of your product we'd love to hear from you, the presentation can be up to a maximum of 60 minutes.  Submit an abstract

Contact: events@ukoug.org if you have any questions regarding SIGs or UKOUG conferences.
