Play the UKOUG World Cup Oracle Game

Paul the Octopus

9 June 2014

Win a box of world beers at either the JDE14, Apps14 or Tech14 conference social.

Remember Paul the Octopus from the 2010 Football World Cup?

Paul was a humble common octopus living in a Sea Life Centre in Germany who was seemingly blessed with the powers of football divination.

He correctly predicted the winner of 12 out of 14 games and achieved worldwide cult status as a Football World Cup Oracle.

Now UKOUG is offering you the chance to be the next 2014 World Cup Oracle, by playing UKOUG's World Cup Oracle twitter game.

How to Play

All you have to do is tweet us your score predictions for the England matches using the following hashtag: #ukoug_fwcOracle.

Everyone who predicts correctly will be entered into a random prize draw to win a box of world beers at either JDE14Apps14 or Tech14 conference socials later in the year.

Be sure to make your predictions before the kick off of each match for them to be counted.

Best of luck from everyone at UKOUG!

We'd love to get your feedback on this; you'll need a UKOUG login to provide it, so if you don't have one, please click on 'create a web profile' first.
