It was great to see so many people at the combined SIG day at Slough. I hope you enjoyed the day and found something useful to take away. Give me a few more days and I will have our SIG report published giving an overview of the day for those not able to attend.
It went by without much mention but, this was actually the first Technology SIG organised and run by UKOUG. I have to take my hat of to the UKOUG staff for finding a great venue, too much food (!) and for being so helpful and welcoming on the day - thankyou!
There was some useful discussion and issues shared at the 8.9 Upgrade Roundtable. If you need to continue this then use the forum for Installation and Upgrades
We were planning to have Phil Eaton (Leader of the Fusion Council Technology Focus Group) give a short message about the Fusion groups activities and how customers can get involved. Unfortunately, we ran out of time at the end of the day so sorry Phil. However, stay tuned here for more information on how you can have your say in what is important to you as Oracle continues development of Fusion Applications.
Thank you to Dave Kurtz and Simon Wilson for presenting and providing some very useful insights into PeopleTools. Both Dave and Simon use this forum so if you are trying to setup anything they have demonstrated then just post a message in the right section.
To keep in touch with posts on this forum can I encourage you to setup a mailing digest or to use the RSS feed. This way you don't have to keep logging in to read new posts.
The next Technology SIG day will be in September and lookout for the UKOUG Annual Conference in November which if you are a member of UKOUG is free to attend!
Great to see and speak to so many of you again.
Stay in touch.
