Upwards, Onwards, Edwards!

15 November 2013

This week our JD Edwards Conference took place at the Madejski Stadium in Reading. With nearly 300 registered delegates the event was a great success.

"Came away feeling reinvigorated and energised with how the product is moving forward and 3rd party tools available. A day well spent."
JDE13 Attendee

The two day event kicked off with an opening motivational presentation from ex-football referee, Graham Poll who gave tips on how to optimise the opportunities at the conference as well as sharing some tales from his time of refereeing. Graham was followed by three Oracle Keynote speakers, John Sciff, Lance Gilmour and Denise Grills who spoke about how JD Edwards stays relevant in the marketplace.

"The JD Edwards user conference provides us with a fantastic opportunity to meet new JDE users and build relations with customers and other JDE partners.  A wonderful combination of education and networking  - thats why we come back year on year!"
Amy Hall, InsightSoftware.com

Throughout the breaks, delegates had the chance to network and visit the lively exhibition which provided a hall full of Oracle suppliers who hosted prize draws, activities and the chance to compare products and services.

Tuesday evening was rounded off with an auction themed social where delegates had the chance to have some drinks, network and bid on various items ranging from Scarlett Johansson's used tissue to a CEO personalised number plate.

Day two provided delegates with even more insightful JD Edwards presentations ranging from live demos, user experiences and a roundtable. The conference concluded with a game card draw where lucky delegates won prizes such as Kindles, laptops and champagne generously donated by our exhibitors.
