The session will talk through the modernisation of an ADF application with a focus on user experience whilst considering the enterprise needs that frameworks like ADF and Forms gave you “out of the box”.  A demonstration will show a very visual JET application; it includes a conversational UI aspect through an integrated Chatbot which gives quick access to data insights and can drive actions in the JET screens.  Responsive design will be discussed and the challenges when a simple “mobile first” design is not sufficient to satisfy the user expectations.  All of the data and features within the application are also made available as policy protected APIs for the customers to call directly when they are granted access.  User's now expect multiple ways to interact with enterprise applications and this session will give some concrete examples of how this may be achieved.
