How do I add someone to my membership or manage the contacts attached to my membership? Back to top
Only the main contact of the membership can add or delete contacts on the membership account. If you are the main contact and wish to add additional people to the membership, you can do so by logging into your online account from the home page and selecting the 'Company Contacts' tab. Alternatively, the main contact may provide additional users with the membership number so that they can create themselves an online profile and associate themselves to the membership. Instructions of how they can do this is detailed in the section 'How do I create an online profile'.

How do I change the main contact for the membership? Back to top
The current main contact will need to email info@ukoug.org with details confirming who they would like to transfer the membership to and include the new main contact's full name, email address and direct telephone number.

If the current main contact has left your organisation, please email info@ukoug.org and state this in your email along with the new main contact details or call us +44 (0)20 8545 9670.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership type? Back to top
Please note that you can upgrade your membership online here at any time throughout the year. The quickest way to settle the payment for an upgrade is to pay by credit card. A downgrade can only be requested at the time of membership renewal.

How do I renew my membership? Back to top
The membership department will issue a renewal notice to the main contact  in advance of your membership expiry date. You can renew online here. If, for whatever reason, you do not hear from us at least a month before your membership expires, please get in touch with us info@ukoug.org or call +44 (0)20 8545 9670.

How can I pay for my membership? Back to top
You can either pay by credit card or provide us with a purchase order number. Credit card payments will be processed within 24 hours and a copy of the invoice and a receipt will be emailed or posted to your accounts payable department. If you have provided a purchase order number, an invoice will be raised and sent to the invoice address specified on the renewal form.

What are the payment options for UKOUG? Back to top
Please note that the following information is for UKOUG membership and SIG payments only and should not be used to make payments for UKOUG conferences. Details relating to payment options for the UKOUG conferences can be found on the conference registration pages once registration opens.

  • Credit cards
    UKOUG accepts all major credit cards. If you would like to make a payment, please call +44 (0)20 8545 9670 or submit your card details securely here. Main contacts can pay online by logging in.
  • Cheques
    Cheques should to be made payable to: UK Oracle User Group and posted to: UK Oracle User Group, User Group House, 591-593 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, SW20 8SA. (Registered Office)
  • BACS payment
    The below bank details are for BACS payments only:

How do I know if my membership payment has been received? Back to top
Please allow up to four working days for your payment to be processed. Once confirmed, your membership status will be updated.  You can check your membership status by logging into your account from the home page. If after four working days your status has not been updated, please contact us at info@ukoug.org or call our membership team +44 (0)20 8545 9670.

How many delegates can attend events on my membership? Back to top
The main contact holds a priority booking right to register for events, however UKOUG membership passes are fully transferrable (apart from Bronze) meaning the main contact can share conference and SIG meeting places with their colleagues. Up to four places at each event can be claimed under Silver, Gold or Platinum memberships (although permission to use five at the same event can be applied for by contacting info@ukoug.org).

I am being wrongly charged for an event, what do I do? Back to top
Firstly, check your membership fees have been paid; if there is an outstanding amount the system will charge you.

If you believe that you are being wrongly charged for an event, please call the appropriate project manager who will be able to investigate and register you manually if necessary. Their details are listed on the event page in our online calendar. Alternatively, you can call the events team on +44 (0)20 8545 9670.

How do I get more SIG/Conference passes? Back to top
If you have used your quota of SIG passes and conference passes for the year and require more, you can do either of the following:

  • Upgrade your membership - By upgrading your membership you will receive an increased number of passes
  • Purchase additional member passes to conferences and SIGs.

How do I update my company’s details? Back to top
If you would like to change your company address or phone number you will need to be logged into your online profile. If you have forgotten your password click here. If you require an online profile, please follow the instructions in the above section 'How to create an online profile'.

If you would like to change the name of company you work for, or have changed roles - you will need to call us in the office so we can do this manually. Please call +44 (0)20 8545 9670 or email info@ukoug.org.
