25 June 2015
The largest event for the Hyperion Community took place recently - find out what went on.
On the 18th June, over 170 Hyperion users, partners and speakers from around the globe headed to London for the UKOUG Hyperion 2015 event.
The day began with a keynote from Oracle’s Rich Wilkie who discussed “What’s On Deck for Oracle EPM Beyond 18.104.22.168”. The agenda then split into four streams covering a variety of Hyperion topic areas including; effective financial storytelling; how cloud computing is changing the office of finance and why financial MDM matters.
During this jam-packed day there were two popular roundtables with delegates and panels engaging in discussions on Cloud & Hosting and Disaster Recovery Options in Oracle EPM.
Hyperion trainers Keyteach delivered two of their fantastic hands-on workshops; one on Migration to FDMEE and the other on Data Relationship Governance.
Participants left with ideas overflowing yet ready to apply their learning back at the workplace. The day’s sessions ended with an Open Forum discussion with Rich Wilkie.
Delegates were able to put their Hyperion related questions directly to Rich who provided very open and honest answers. Sticking with tradition we rounded the event off with an evening social, and were delighted that so many delegates took the opportunity to unwind and catch up with each other after their busy day of learning.
