Planning to take or resit a certification exam at Test Fest during conference this December? Make sure you comply with/understand the updated retake policy.
The certification exam retake policy allows candidates to retake a certification exam that they did not pass. This policy was put in place to provide candidates with additional time to prepare for a failed exam, and also to protect the integrity of the certification exam content. Certification exam retake policy:
- Candidates are required to wait 14 calendar days before retaking a failed proctored certification exam.
- Candidates are not allowed to retake beta exams.
- Candidates are allowed only three attempts to pass a certification exam within a 12-month period.
- Candidates may not retake a passed certification exam at any time.
Please note, the guidelines above refer to certification exams only. Candidates may retake an online non-proctored assessment or exam at any time. For more details, visit the Oracle Certification Program Guidelines page.
